Where the magic happens… #blogging #writing #architecture

We each have our preferred and particular approach to being creative, a place where we can focus and work the best and for writers, an environment where it just happens…

Some of these places are quiet rooms in the workplace, others prefer communal areas in libraries and some the local coffee shop. Imagine if you could create your ideal space?

Andrew Berman Architect were commissioned to do exactly that for one of their Clients, a historian, and designed this standalone building as a library and writing studio. Even access to the building is “disconnected,” there is no driveway or pavement. You simply walk though the wood with views of an open field and tidal stream. Magical…

Let us know your preferred place where the magic can happen for you in the comments below…

Andrew Berman Architect’s work is defined by unique spaces and structures designed to resolve complex programs and sites. Each project is inextricably of its place. Each project speaks of its client, their culture, and programmatic needs. The building’s construction is intrinsic to its meaning and presence, as well as its practical resolution. Materials are invested with purpose. They come alive in the light, and gain character over time through use and weathering.
