Virgin Hyperloop and DP World are partnering to utilize the Hyperloop technology to deliver cargo in ultra fast time. This makes even more sense than transporting passengers in our view and could revolutionize trade and transportation around the world.
The Hyperloop is a technology that is based on Robert Goddard’s “vactrain,”
a sealed tube or system of tubes through which a pod may travel free of air resistance or friction conveying people or objects at high speed while being very efficient.
Based in Dubai, DP World, a Hyperloop One investor, operates from freight terminals internationally and delivers via freight routes in Asia, Africa and across the Middle East continents.
Equally inspiring is Foster & Partner’s design concept for the Hyperloop network and the associated infrastructure.
